Solef® 1006 is a very low molecular weight PVDF homopolymer designed for applications requiring excellent melt flow and easier processing characteristics. Its combination of processability, chemical resistance, thermal stability, and inherent fluoropolymer durability makes it well suited for molding, coating, and other applications where consistent flow behavior and long-term material performance are important. As part of the Solef® PVDF family, Solef® 1006 also offers the high purity, weather resistance, and flame resistance associated with high-performance fluoropolymers.
INJECTION MOLDING — HIGH FLOW PROCESSING
Very low molecular weight and high melt flow support fast fill speeds and easier processing in molded PVDF components and complex geometries.
COATINGS & THIN-LAYER APPLICATIONS
Fine powder form and excellent flow characteristics support uniform fluoropolymer coatings and thin-layer processing applications.
GENERAL EXTRUSION APPLICATIONS
Suitable for extrusion processes requiring smooth melt behavior combined with the chemical resistance, durability, and thermal stability of PVDF.
WIRE & CABLE COATINGS
Low viscosity supports smooth extrusion coating and insulation applications requiring dielectric performance and long-term environmental stability.
SPECIALTY COMPOUNDING & MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT
Useful as a high-flow PVDF base resin for specialty formulations, blends, and processing studies.
CHEMICAL-RESISTANT INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS
Applicable in industrial environments requiring the inherent corrosion resistance and durability of fluoropolymers.
